Herb-A-Lize-It's Stef not hiding his curiosity and closely watching Rodigan.

In a surprisingly not completely sold out Burgerweeshuis in Deventer in the east of the Netherlands, it was the proud of the east Herb-A-Lize-It hosting a bash that not only featured themselves, but also the international Number One sound from the Netherlands, Jah Sound International alongside the gentleman-rudeboy, the reggae-ambassador David Rodigan. Probably Rodigan playing one day later in Hannover, and the same day the Japanese sound Mighty Crown in Wuppertal, made the Germans normally expected to travel to their neighbourcountry to Deventer chosing not to show up. But this did not keep any of the three sounds from playing their heart out. With solid sets from Enschede's Herb-A-Lize-It, fine sets from Jah Sound International with some great dubs, and the absolute wicked pieces coming out of Rodigan's dub-box including a tribute to the recently passed away Studio One owner Clement Coxsone Dodd and later one to the late crownprince of reggae Dennis Emmanuel Brown, this was the best bash one could have witnessed in the east of the Netherlands ever. The pictures show how much the sounds gave. And trust me, that was appreciated by the massive being clever enough to attend. I can only hope this was the first of a series of really BIG sounds visiting Enschede or Deventer, because this is what I want to see happening.

Tell them, Roddie, tell them.

More classic Rodigan, the poses, and more important, his tunes!
