The little man with the powerful and enchanting voice is how they use to describe Unique Madoo. Unique is one of the most original singers ever to come out of Toronto's dancehall scene. A veteran is his profession; he is respected by his peers, and loved and admired by his fans. Born Wilton Shattock in the parish of St. Andrews Jamaica, Unique knew his calling of becoming a singer at the age of three when he started singing in church. According to Unique, "I knew from the first time I stood up in Church and sang that singing would be my destiny. I have never stopped singing since."

After emigrating to Toronto as a young boy, at the age of eleven, he was shy, and loved to sing. "Singing is my life, I sang ever chance I got. I would listen to the radio, and when I heard all the popular songs I would sing along with them, even making up new songs." At the age of thirteen with the urging of the now popular Toronto radio personnel Sir B of CHRY 105.5 FM Cool Runnings radio program. Unique entered in Bathurst Heights Secondary School talent show, he went on to win the talent show with a standing ovation and numerous encores. This is where he got the name Little Madoo. He later entered and won several local talent shows, which was his first taste of stardom, and he loved it.

After graduating from high school singing and songwriting became his way of life. He matured into a season entertainer with his sweet electrifying voice he and impressive sing style techniques began making a name for himself on the Toronto concert and dancehall scene. In the late 80's and early 90's, he performed at numerous venues, and shared the staged with such international artists as: Sanchez, Singing Melody, Thriller U, Beres Hammond, Frankie Paul, Alton Ellis, Johnny Osbourne, Barrington Levy, Don Angelo, Wayne Wonder, Malibu, Tony Curtis Trevor Sparks, Jackie James as well as popular DJ's Papa San, Lt. Stitchie, Admiral Bailey, Lady G, Rappa Robert and Tipper Lee, General Trees, Echo Minott, Bunny General, Fowler. He also performed on sound systems such as, Stone Love, Metro Media, Killamanjaro, Jam Rock, Exodus, Stur Gav, Upsetter, Soul to Soul, Creation, Berry Culture, and Silver Fox just to name a few. Unique recorded such singles, as Mamma Don't Cry No More, I Just Came Here To Dance, Magic In Your Eyes, and Cheers.

Unique never gave up his life calling, he took a break and concentrated on being a father and raising his three talented daughters Amber, Tamara and Kayla. He is now back on the music scene with a vengeance. He has since performed with popular artists such as Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, Buju Banton, and Baby Cham, Lukie D and numerous local and international artists. His last performance was at the Air Canada Center during Caribana weekend at the Capleton, Genuine show. Unique showed the audience what a true professional he really was, he gave a smashing performance they would never forget receiving a standing ovation and several encores. Unique is a hard working entertainer who only thrives to be the best and never stops giving. He knows with hard work and dedication that he will make it in the music industry, he is confident in himself, and his strive to succeed will take him to high places. He continues to perform locally as well internationally.
