Overall rating : (1 to 5 stars)
Some years ago Tanya Stephens was regarded as one of the most promising female reggae artists, which resulted in the release of a solid debut album entitled "Big Things A Gwaan" (produced by Barry O'Hare and still available on RUNN Records). In recent times "Big things a gwaan" indeed for Tanya Stephens as she delivered some real wicked and well-received tunes like e.g. "Goggle" and "Handle the ride". There's no doubt about this woman having a very powerful voice, but in this case the power of Computer Paul's re-activated version of the "Stalag" riddim raises the level of the song even higher than Stephens' voice does. Deejays Mega Banton & Daddy Vic also have the advantage of a solid riddim. This cut is a good example of a duo who works together real well. They put out a decent herb tune, although they get somewhat repetitive in their lyrics.
