Answer version to a riddim... In the last months of 1999 Dave Kelly released the much anticipated and highly acclaimed "Millennium Bug" riddim, which was voiced by such Dancehall stars as Baby Cham, Spragga Benz, Wayne Wonder and.. Bounty Killer with the latter delivering the awesome cut "Look", which was banned in Jamaica. Now Dave Kelly's cutting edge "Madhouse" label strikes again with the release of several cuts to "Millennium Bug Part 2", very correctly entitled "The Clone" riddim.

Expectations are high when it comes to the release of a tune which is the result of Bounty Killer's association with Dave Kelly. Bounty Killer's "Look" fully lived up to expectations, and although "Another Level", Bounty Killer's combination with Baby Cham, is a solid effort, it is not that impressive as his solo cut over the "Millennium Bug" riddim. In this case the other top ranking deejay Beenie Man, with some help of Mr. Easy, delivers the better version. The appealing conscious lyrics and Beenie's excellent flow across the "Clone" riddim make "Haters & Fools" a very enjoyable and noteworthy tune. Although Frisco Kid surely delivers a powerful performance it is definitely the strength of the infectious riddim that keeps one involved till the very end. Chico, one of our favourite and most promising Dancehall artists, adds his own flavour to the riddim. His approach and delivery makes his version well worth checking out.
