|As a follow up to their brilliant 'Outlaw'-riddim selection that was released
just before 2009 started, Bassrunner
Productions' selector Loopus once more - after the 'Ghetto Ride' - teams up with jazz/techno
producer Florian Richling (of electro-project Tipanic) as Luke R.I.C.H. to build the 'Billboard'-riddim backing NYC dancehall sensation (whom I've championed before in my reviews), Hellrazor Movements' former MC Beniton The Menace.|
Beniton The Menace immediately describes himself tongue-in-cheek across the hard driving beats of the 'Billboard'-riddim yoyo, ladies, ladies, have no fear, your Romeo is here followed by the hilarious abara-kadabara, me nah use Viagra! of course ultimately paying tribute to the one girl standing out star is born, girl you know the way you wine you really really turn me on very nicely.
Once more Beniton The Menace shows that it's beyond belief that he isn't voiced more by producers, as he's got the (witty) lyrics and the flow to add something to a riddim, even if that riddim itself is already as much in your voice as this great Luke R.I.C.H. / Bassrunner 'Billboard'-riddim that only makes even more curious about the upcoming 'Prisonbreak'-selection.
