Overall rating : (1 to 5 stars)
Here are three new 45s on the Silver Kamel label featuring a tune by much promising new artist Nemo, and new tracks from reggae dancehall veterans Anthony Johnson and Jah Thomas. Nemo's "Blah Blah Blah" is one of the strongest tracks on his solid debut album "Cross-Breed" and thus it doesn't come as a surprise that this wicked piece - underpinned by an infectious riddim - has been put out on 7" single. On the flipside you'll find the instrumental version, "Small Talk", which has been taken from Jah Thomas' "Liquid Brass" album. The same goes for "Swinging Session", featured on the flipside of Anthony Johnson's "Swinging Medley". The latter is a well done new version of the reggae dancehall singer's own "Swinging My Love (Medley)", which comes across "Under Mi Sensi/African Beat". Jah Thomas picks up his deejay trade, performing "Discover London City" in fine style over the same riddim track, thus showing that he's still capable of delivering a notable effort.
