Overall rating : (1 to 5 stars)
Producer Ransford aka "The African" of Humal Records has gathered some of the finest reggae veterans and up-and-coming artists to voice pieces over the well laid "Suffering" riddim. Junior Kelly has delivered some decent and well received tunes since the beginning of the year 2000 and "God Bless" is no exception. It is a very enjoyable tune in which Junior Kelly fully showcases why he is regarded one of today's much promising and most anticipated singjays. "No More Suffering" truly belongs to one of Frankie Paul's best efforts recorded in recent years. Of course, the singer delivers his song in his well known style, but it is the combination of an inspired sounding vocal performance and a fitting riddim that turns it into a solid delivery. Skibu's vocal and lyrical delivery on "Show Love" is outstanding. The lyrics of this tune are written with the youths in mind and more so with the examples they follow. Despite the release of some fine albums Admiral Tibett has never achieved a huge breakthrough. It turned him into a somewhat underrated singer, who - in good shape - is able to deliver a noteworthy effort as is the case with "I Know". Newcomer Fkire Selassie possesses a powerful voice. His "Glory Of God" strongly tends to Gospel reggae, but don't let that be a reason for ignoring this tune, because it is a truly solid piece. We are pretty sure that the reggae massive will recognise the skills and talent of this fine singer in the near future.
