Rass Brass - Good, Bad & Nasty / Mojo Rock Reggae
Overall rating : (1 to 5 stars)
The Rass Brass - Nambo Robinson, Chico and Dean Fraser - deliver two cuts, both more or less reworkings of renown tunes. The A-side contains a fast-paced, modern instrumental, loosely based on Ennio Morricone's all-time classic "The good, the bad and the ugly", while the B-side is filled with a contemporary interpretation of Sound Dimension's Studio One thriller "Mojo Rock Steady". The skill of the musicians is visible in both efforts, but in the end they fail in making it sound more than just "nice".
