Addis Record is a reggae label based in Geneva, Switzerland and was founded in 1992 by two musicians. Productionwise they were involved with Prince Malachi, Mark Wonder, Turbulence, Junior Kelly, Lutan Fyah and Isha Bel. They teamed up with Jamaican singer Hezron for an album and the single "Mobay". Hezron was born in the community of Moy Hall, St. James, Jamaica. Formerly an R&B singer, who lived in the United States for over a decade, he returned to Jamaica to start a career as reggae vocalist. He is often compared to the likes of Mikey Spice, Beres Hammond and Luther Vandross, because of his raspy sound and thrilling lyrics.

The single "Mobay" is about a place in Jamaica, Montego Bay. It's a beautiful place, a tourist destination and second largest town in Jamaica. Recently the city is 'flooded' by gang violence which has a large impact on its inhabitants. Hezron sings about it and how he wishes that it would end, bringing back the nice vibes so he can go back to place he loves so much. The mid tempo one drop tune is a heartfelt cry, coming right out of his heart! The digital release features a smooth vibes mix and an instrumental is included as well.
