Overall rating : (1 to 5 stars)
Yami Bolo & Capleton's single "Hotness" is the follow-up to their previous Fat Eyes killer tune "Put Down The Weapon" and this singer-deejay combination really proves to be a winner as they deliver a new thriller! Singer Andrew Coombs puts out a nice effort with a song that tells us the story of a plummer who goes on his way to do his first job of the day, but as it turns out the wife of the house had probably something else in mind. Singing Melody has a good voice and with his cover of Van Morrison's "Crazy Love" he delivers a decent tune on the riddim. Anthony B. has become one of the top articulators among the new crop of spiritually enlightening DJ's on the dancehall reggae scene. The powerful "Fire Come Now", with its "in-your-face" lyrics, is a solid delivery of the humble, yet controversial Anthony B.; another testimony of the man's ability ! Terror Fabulous tackles this new Fat Eyes' riddim for one of his best singles. His tune is full of consciousness and Terror's rough melodic style flows perfectly over the slow-paced, traditional-style riddim. Furthermore Terror's cut has a nice addition of female backing vocals.
