Although many may consider them to be real brothers the members of the vocal duo Brian & Tony Gold are unrelated. When they started their recording career somewhere in the eighties, Brian Thompson and Winston Hislop chose a professional name that fitted the luxurious feel of their voices. Not only have they recorded their own material, their polished harmonies have also been in demand by many Jamaican artists and producers, as they could give a delightful touch to their recordings.

Since arriving at New York-based Big Yard Records in 1995, Brian & Tony Gold joined current mega star Shaggy for each of his world spanning tours including "Boombastic" (1995/96), the "Midnight Lovers" (1998/99) and "Hot Shot" (2000/01) which was fueled by the mega-platinum success of Shaggy's "Hot Shot" album. Now, the time has come to step forward and do their own thing. With the full support of Shaggy’s management company the duo with the golden voices has recorded a sweet one-drop lovers rock tune called "Irresistable" at the renown "Tuff Gong" studios in Kingston JA, utilising Shaggy's experienced musicians plus the production skills of Michael Fletcher, Shane Brown and Rohan Dwyer.

"Irresistable" is a solid, entertaining tune which surely has the potential to reach a broad audience. This tune caresses the ear due to the appealing vocal and lyrical delivery and the well arranged riddim track. A guaranteed winner, bound to soar into mainstream charts!
