Tony Kelly’s ‘Unda wata’ riddim is to follow up his ‘Bookshelf’ riddim, in my opinion the best and most succesful dancehall riddim of last year. The riddim with it’s tuff bassline really sounds like it was recorded underwater and again the line-up on this project is very promissing. Beenie Man’s ‘Kingston hot’ is about the turbulence in Jamaica’s capitol started after the signing of the peacetreaty between the downtown gangs and the arrest of Zeeks. Buju’s ruff voice can be heard on ‘Di woman dem fat’, whilst Vegas gives his interpretation of Eek-a-Mouse’s rub-a-dub favorite ‘Wha do dem’. Other versions come from Degree and soca star Machel Montano.
