Artist / Title :
B.B. Seaton - Lean On Me / B.B. Seaton - Somewhere Down The Line

Label : Soul Beat U.K.      Format : 7" single      Date : 19 - 06 - 2002
Rating : (1 to 5 stars)

Reggae veteran Harris "B.B." Seaton initially recorded alongside Delano Stewart and Maurice Roberts as the Gaylads. This vocal group scored hit after hit in the rocksteady era, mainly for Coxsone Dodd's "Studio One" label. In the early seventies B.B. Seaton tried his luck as a solo performer and again he enjoyed a number of hits, including "Accept My Apology", "Miss My Schooldays", "Thin Line Between Love & Hate" and a version of Bill Withers' "Lean On Me". The latter is now re-issued as a 7" single on B.B. Seaton's own "Soul Beat" label and still comes as strong as it did then. An enjoyable classic tune well worth checking.
