Artist / Title : Cocoa Tea - Mr. Neck Tie Man / Version
Label : Xterminator      Format : 7" (JA Pre-release)      Date : 03-04-1998
Riddim : Mean Girl/I Need A Roof
Rating : (1 to 5 stars)

Xterminator's Phillip "Fatis" Burrell has previously issued a number of versions to his recut of the old Studio One Larry Marshall chestnut "Mean girl" built off a sample of the 1976 Channel One version of The Mighty Diamonds' "I need a roof". We call to mind Luciano's epic hymn Sweep over my soul, Capleton's equally moving Stand tall and Sizzla's wicked Babylon a listen. And again we're treated to a first class performance with Cocoa Tea singing sweeter than ever, demanding that the Mr. Neck Tie Man of the title to "move before I tell you 'bout your pants and shirt bwoy !". Fatis even sticks a different dub on the flip just to let you know he's into it.
