Overall rating : (1 to 5 stars)
ORieL is a new and upcoming reggae artist from Pittsburgh. In 2005 he formed the Vybz Machine sound system with friends. He also founded the record label Afar Music Group, and developed a musical style that he describes as "Reggae/Fusion, which is mostly Reggae fused with the sound of Jazz, RnB, Rock, Blues and Hip Hop." He performs with his band The Revoluters, which is also the name given to his fans. He has worked with Ziggy Marley, Richie Stephens, Konshens and Wayne Wonder to name but a few. He released some tunes and an EP and in 2015 he made his debut on some major festivals.

His latest release is an awesome single called "Babylon System". It deals with a situation that occurred when he performed in Pittsburgh. The local police reacted inna violent way when he and his band were smoking marijuana. He cries out "Babylon why you keep coming, just to keep us down" across a mid-tempo backdrop that mixes Hip-Hop/RnB/Reggae/Dub elements into a superb laid back riddim.

Very solid effort!
