Overall rating : (1 to 5 stars)
Tarrus Riley, son of......sings "All I want for Christmas is to stay alive, Can't take the sound of the 45!" on his recent holiday single "Crime Free Christmas", a production from Lamont "Monte" Savory inna mix by Jukeboxx founder Shane C. Brown.

The infectious single is part of the Crime Free Christmas campaign (started December 1) to stop the violence during the holiday season. Other artists involved include among others Christopher Martin, Tessanne Chin, Busy Signal, Agent Sasco, Duane Stephenson, Protoje, and Chronixx. Their efforts to promote non-violence during the holiday season is supported by a number of corporate entities, including beverage manufacturers Wisynco through their brands Tru-Juice, Boom, Bigga and Wata telecommunications firm FLOW, the Jamaica Biscuit Company, and roofing manufacturers Tropical Metal Products Ltd. Other companies include TVJ, Jamaica Observer, Innovative Signs Ltd, Hose Specialists & Accessories Ltd, Northern Caribbean University, and From Thought to Finish Ltd.

Tarrus uses the classic holiday scorcher from Jacob Miller & Ray I, "All I Want For Ismas" as inspiration for his dancehall interpretation. Nicely done!
