German remix wizard Jr. Blender - you just have to check his "Remix Conference" Mix-CDs alongside SoulForce - and selector of one of Germany's big '3-S' soundsystems, Berlin's Supersonic Sound (the other 2 being Stuttgart's Sentinel and Detmold's - distributors of this selection - Soundquake, is the producer of this brilliant 'Treasure'-selection for his own label Blenders Finest with 10 tunes over a relick of Freddie McKay's 1967 Treasure Isle classic "Love Is A Treasure".

The Messenjah Luciano delivers the first excellent tune "Bring Back The Days" with the in Europe very well known title track of Ronny Trettmann's full length debut on Germaican Records from last year "Kaffee" on the flipside, with Perfect's great ganja tune "Got To Smoke" paired with the very upful "Inna Dis Life" by former Court Jesters Crew vocalist and member of Soulfood International Spruddy One.

And although I should probably refrain from doing so, I will emphasize that Ras Shiloh sounds at his best here on (the strangely everywhere misspelled in my opinion, listening to the lyrics I'd opt for 'de' instead of 'ght') "Perfect Bright" coming as close to the late and great Garnet Silk's intense delivery as you could imagine, coupled with the very impressive return of the Black Panther with "Crazy" after disappearing for almost 5 years (together with his label Vikings) from the scene.

The fourth single combines two extremely talented European artists Germaica's Ill Inspecta with "Long Distance Call" from his extremely impressive debut album "Rudebwoy Anthems" and Switzerland's in SchwytzerdŁtsch (harder to understand for a native German speaker than thick Jamaican Patois for a native English speaker) singjaying sensation Phenomden with the equally strong, very catchy "Dance Im Olivenhain".

The last 45 of this truly wicked selection features the fortunately lately more often again recorded veteran dancehallsinger Frankie Paul with the magnificent "Smile For Me" and the only female artists on this selection, Germany's own Yell (from Hamburg) with the wonderful "Survival". Jr. Blender's 'Treasure'-riddim is a must have 7" selection for every soundsystem selector and every 7" buyer, that is not only distributed on 45s but that is available as well as digital download through www.finetunes.net.
