Lush Records, the small label from Sweden that every now and then comes up with a fine heavyweight UK Roots release, have unleashed a limited edition one-off pressing of a brand new 4 track Dougie Wardrop produced 10inch featuring music from Kenny Knots and Bush Chemist. Kenny Knots, whose single "Watch How The People Dancing" from the second half of the eighties is a truly essential release for any Reggae fan, delivers one of his best efforts. Lyrically "Up There" deals with the Livety of Rastafari, perserverance and determination, whilst musically the listener is treated to a wicked one drop riddim track created by Dougie Wardrop and his Conscious Sounds crew. Also worth of hearing is its dub version which has vocal bits in the mix. The mood on the flipside is completely different. "Dub Symphony" is an orchestral Dub Stepper full of nice strings which comes with a strong 'Far East' vibe. However, if you're not overly fond of strings then jump to "Symphony Of Dub" which drops real heavy.
