After the digital release of Wild Life's debut set "Too Tuff", Amsterdam based production crew Not Easy At All Productions joined forces with record label JahSolidRock Music. Both have the same goal namely building up a solid catalogue of 'original roots reggae', with both talent from Europe as well as from the cradle Jamaica. The first result of this collaboration is the release of two double A-sided 7" vinyl singles featuring the works of Chezidek and Dutch artist Bena´ssa and furthermore the legendary Earl Sixteen and Wild Life, which will very soon be followed by Chezidek's new full length album "Judgement Time".

Underpinned by the slow-paced bass driven "Collie Weed", which has a sound reminiscent of the reggae sounds from the late '70s/early '80s, we're first treated to Chezidek's solid "Walk With Jah" and Bena´ssa's matching "Africa Blood". Chezidek is a singer with an incomparable voice who sometimes lacks consistency, but here his vocally delivery is solid throughout. With the cultural "African Blood", Bena´ssa shows he can handle a rootical riddim in fine style and also lyrically it's a good effort.

Earl Sixteen is an experienced artist with many classic records under his belt. It's always a pleasure to hear the singer's distinctive voice, not least because we've learned that he hardly ever disappoints. When he has to ride a roots riddim he's simply at his best, which is once again showcased with his "Fittest Of The Fittest" tune. Wild Life's "Ganja Yard" is one of our favourite tracks from his "Too Tuff" album, and now it's also available as 7" single.
