The video Splashin' The Palace '84 was filmed when Jamaica's renowned "Reggae Sunsplash" was exported to England and occupied the Crystal Palace Football Stadium as part of a Capital Radio Music Festival. Thousands upon thousands of avid reggae fans witnessed the superb performances of legendary artists such as the Skatalites and Prince Buster and the superstars of that time like Dennis Brown, Black Uhuru and Aswad.

Here you will see Black Uhuru (Ducky Simpson, Puma and Michael Rose) at the top of their musical career, with electrifying performances of Guess Who's Coming To Dinner and General Penitentiary, both backed by Sly and Robbie and the Taxi Gang. Some awesome and breathtaking footage here of Dennis Brown as he does Revolution, I Can't Stand It and Promised Land. Former Heptones frontman Leroy Sibbles is present here with two tunes inna rub-a-dub style : Rock Steady Party and Rock & Come On. Aswad delivers one of their biggest hit Roots Rockin inna extended stylee... and the crowd goes wild!

Definitely worth while checking out, especially if you're a Dennis Brown or Black Uhuru fan !
