Here we're treated to Mad Professor's unique dubwise vision on the current dancehall craze with its inexhaustible flood of bashment riddims... Take some of the baddest dancehall riddims around like for example "Diwali" and "Coolie Dance", along with popular tunes such as 50 Cent's "P.I.M.P." or own classics like "Kunte Kinte", tear them apart and rewrite the programme, while retaining the dancehall mood with a cosmic dub feel. That's what this release is all about. The Mad Professor is known and respected for considerable contributions to the lovers rock genre, the production of numerous conscious roots reggae albums with artists like Macka B, Chukki Star and Earl 16, the collaborations with other pioneers such as Jah Shaka, Scientist and Lee Perry, the experiments with some heavy duty jungle projects, and the success of Massive Attack.
