After the outstanding "In The Light/In The Light Dub" album the Blood & Fire label brings to us her second Horace Andy re-release and once again it's excellent stuff from "Sleepy". Horace Andy has such a distinct voice and relaxed delivery and has been delivering the hits for so many years his voice should be known to most of the reggae fans by now. This compilation draws from 1975 - 1980 and is a delightful and superb selection of Horace Andy gems. It includes productions from Trio International, Bunny "Striker" Lee, Everton DaSilva and Horace Andy himself. Highly enjoyable and most interesting are the two wicked 12" versions of Horace's brilliant Studio One remake "Mr. Bassie" and "Pure Ranking" as well as the inclusion of a dub version directly after the vocal version. Great sleeve and sleeve- notes as always !
