Humble Servant Band was founded in 2011. The California based band has been rising from strength to strength since 2011. They play traditional roots reggae, "influenced by a multitude of cultures & styles including Blues, Rock, Jazz, Funk, Metal, Dancehall, Ska, Hip-Hop and international flavors, on a mission to promote love, positivity and unification through music". The members are Stevie Dread on guitar, Renzo on drums, Mattchbox on keyboard, and B the Lioness, the powerful lead vocalist.

These multi talented messengers deliver their debut EP which is called "Greatest Gift", five tracks that brim with originality, versatility and true sense of purpose... spreading the works of His Imperial Majesty HAILE SELASSIE I and keeping the integrity of King's Music intact with manners and respect. First we get treated to the title track, a powerful uptempo (likkle ska here...) catchy tune. Nice effort! Next comes the lovely one drop song "More Than A Friend", a real treat, lovers rock presented in unique and intoxicating manners. But there's definitely more niceness here. "One Way" is injected with some subtle jazzy guitar riffs, combined with the exquisite vocal delivery makes this tune one of our favorite songs. "Cold World" is a mid-tempo tune, lyrically strong, but the arrangement seems a little out of balance. "Strengthen" closes this nice EP with sense and power!

Really interesting debut set... waiting for more...
