The name 'DubWare' comes from the union of two words, DUB and HARDWARE. Italian instrumentalist Valerio (Val) Riccelli is the driving force behind this project and is responsable for all the instrumentation on this mini cd. The artist describes the unique components of DubWare as 'bizarre sound effects..tempo-matched delays...analog and digital synthesized sounds...savage reverberations'. This compilation is the first work from the Italian dubmeastro and makes a solid impression. The bass and keyboard both are very prominent, except for Road To Benim which is build around a catchy guitar melody. Notting Hill Carnival is a song that stands out, complete with hand drumming and synthetic horns.
