This album contains wonderful contemporary roots reggae music from a veteran singer, arranger and producer whose unique work from the seventies has provided inspiration for some of the rootsiest performers who followed in his footsteps. Although this is a new chapter in the works of Vivian "Yabby You" Jackson the layered sound is readily identifiable and reflects the man's love of God and his deeply rooted compassion for the poor and suffering of this world. "Jah will be done" reworks some of Yabby You's earliest material and themes as ever built upon a solid foundation of forceful spirituality and the supreme melodic skills of his moving roots music. The album was recorded in Canada and Jamaica with contributions of players such as Clinton Fearon, Johnny "Dizzy" Moore, Obeah and Hu I Milligan, including renown backing vocalists Jimmy Riley, Earl 16, Clinton Fearon and Cornell Campbell. Next to this master sound technician Sylvan Morris did the final mix, working together with Yabby You in the mixing room for the very first time. Some 25 years after his remarkable entrance in reggae business Yabby You still provides quality music that does not let the roots reggae fan down !
