Number twenty in the appreciated "Jet Star Reggae Max" series mainly collects recent work of Tyrone Taylor, undoubtedly one of the strongest writers of explosive, emotional and highly imaginative love songs. So it's obvious that this compilation set focusses on the lovers' side of this distinctive singer. The result is a solid and well balanced album that brings some of Taylor's very best including "Rainy sunset", "Happiness is loving you", his smash hit "Members only" and his anthem "Cottage in Negril". Next to this six fine new tunes are added as well. Tyrone Taylor is backed by some of the best musicians the U.K. has to offer and the result is a real tight sound that stands with the best. There's no real weak track to be found although his version of the Monkees' hit from the sixties "I'm a believer" doesn't fit this solid compilation.
