Sandra Cross started as part of the duo Love & Unity. With a song that she wrote entitled "I Adore You" they reached the number one spot on Britain's reggae chart for four straight weeks in 1979. After some singles she teamed up with the Mad Professor, who chose her for an all-girl band called the Wild Bunch, but she topped the charts with her first solo release entitled "Country Living", which aced British Chart for ten straight weeks in 1985. Since then she has always been a major force in the UK reggae scene.

Her latest effort is a collaboration with the renown UK label Stingray. For some years now she has been active for the label, releasing top-notch tunes, some of them included on several volumes of the Stingray Showcase series. Her current effort is an EP with four excellent tracks. First is the joyful tune "Arise". This one is across Stingray's interpretation of the "I'm Still Waiting" riddim. "Sing" is a triumphant soulful tune celebrating the life of a songstress. " Revival" comes from the wicked three-riddim album Singray Showcase Vol. 17 (recommended set!) from 2014. She rounds off in sweet emotional style with "Lesson To Learn".

Pleasing selection!
