With "Send the rain" eight members strong Baltimore U.S.A. based reggae band Jah Works delivers its second independent release, the follow-up to their decent debut album "Feast or famine". This new delivery happens to be a highly enjoyable and solid album. It consists of energetic "live" music all the way, skillfully played by real musicians. Jah Works' groove-laden sound can best be described as modern "roots rock reggae" (based on elements of dancehall, dub and roots-reggae) tastefully flavored with R&B, latin and jazz ingredients. The "Send the rain" project is mixed by renown reggae/dub engineer/pioneer Scientist.
