Already the fourth commercially released single drawn from their great third album "Next!" for Germany's dancehall caballeros Seeed (who already released in collaboration with Pionear and his Germaican Records their 'Rodeo'-riddim to conquer the dancehalls) after "Aufstehn" and "Schwinger" and THE dancehalltune of the album, their German lyrics take on the 'Rodeo' "Ding", "Slowlife (Radio Version)" has just been released, set over a gloomy soundscape far away from Seeed's 'normal' sound and much more reminiscent of Demba 'Ear' Nabé's solowork as Appear - as can be found on the "Bound Club (EP)" -, not too surprising as this track is produced by the collective Boundzound consisting of Ear, Charles Matuschewski & Transporterraum. The "Slowlife (Album Version)" is the impressive full length track from "Next", followed by the great, even more avantgarde influenced "Slowlife (Krauts Remix)" and the UK-rap version bin "Slowlife (The Mitchell Brother's Version). It's followed by the track of which the studio version was included on the "Schwinger EP", "King Rodriguez", a great track over a latin beat (yes that's right, not latin-influenced or latin-tinged, but Latin - with a capital L) with great horn riffs as wonderful in its live version as the studio version was. The very nice "Muddy Slowlife (MPEG Video)" closes this fourth, and in my opinion once again must buy Maxi-CD taken from their "Next!" album.
