Cayman Islands based Tabia has delivered with their (debut ?) set a mature album, a treat for all reggae fans over the world. This is nineties reggae, laying heavily on the conscious tip of reggae music. Lead vocalist Hubert Campbell has a warm, soulful yet powerful voice. The way he does Simply Red's "Holding back the years" is really chilling. The album shows a variety of styles, scanning all the diversities of reggae music, which makes it very enjoyable. The horns section features the "Big Three" : Dean Fraser-Chico & Nambo. As a kind of bonus they've added a wicked dub track, "Dubbers Banquet". If you're looking for a new, fresh sound, check out Tabia.
