The second release on Jet Star's new subsidiary label 'Gospel Times' is Hensley King's The King Is Coming. The lyrical themes on the album are pure Christian, dealing with peace, joy, mercy, grace and most of all salvation. The music found here is quality UK reggae, recorded at Jet Star's own Cave Studios and the backing is provided by household names such as Mafia & Fluxy, Tony Ruff Cutt, Jermaine Forde and Tony Richards. Furthermore it also features backing vocals by reggae veteran Winston Francis.
Highlights on the album are God Love Is Our Love, a remake of Wycliff Jean's (and Whitney Houston's) "Your Love", I've Got A Mansion, the ska flavored tune Honey In The Rock, I Sing Because I Am happy, a tune across the "Stars" riddim, Nearer My God To Thee, and Let Your Lower Light Be Burning.
