Winston Grennan, the best kept secret in reggae music, is one of the originators of reggae music. Being the first great reggae drummer, he has worked with almost everyone in the business, from C.S. Dodd, to Bunny Lee and Duke Reid. His recordings are countless. He calls the music on his new set "swegway" music, a departure from the "one drop" drum sound he created in the past. Being exposed to a lot of different music since then, he cooperated all these influences into his own "swegway" sound. Sometimes very jazzy, but also ska and reggae tracks can be found on this relaxed and soulful compact disc. A very varied album produced by Mark Brown at the Sound Forest Studio.
