Dub Incorporation is a band from Saint-Étienne, France. The band formed in 1997 and over the years they have developed a unique style, combining the best elements of reggae, dancehall, dub, ska and even rap. But that's not all, their music is also influenced by African and Arab music with their songs being sung in a mixture of French, English, Arabic and Kabyle (a variety of the Berber language spoken by the Kabyle people in the north and northeast of Algeria).

The band has released several studio albums. The 2003 debut set "Diversité" was their first nationally distributed album and as a result they grew very successful locally, playing sold out gigs and selling more and more records. Next came the album "Dans le Décor". This 2005 release received rave reviews and they started touring in countries such as Germany, Portugal, Italy, Spain, Greece and Morocco. The year 2008 saw the release of the album "Afrikya" that established the band's name as being France's answer to the uprising German reggae scene. The album was awarded 'Best French Reggae Album 2008' by Web Reggae Awards. The name of the album "Hors Contrôle" that was released in 2010 pointed to a France governed by the racist president Nicolas Sarkozy and included a guest appearance from Tarrus Riley. The band has done some hundreds of shows in the past years on 5 continents! Undoubtedly they have become the epitome of the successful European reggae band; indeed the band's live performances have allowed them to establish themselves as the spearhead of the French musical scene abroad over the past ten years. "Rude Boy Story" is the first documentary film released about this band. In 2013 they released the album called "Paradise" and they shortened the name and credited the albums to Dub Inc. In 2011 they surprised the reggae community with the release of the "No Doubt Riddim", an album with contributions of reggae/dancehall superstars like Capleton, Busy Signal, Pressure and Tony Curtis.

Their current release is called "Better Run Riddim", a one riddim album offering a smooth and catchy one drop reggae riddim, and the line up of artists is more than impressive! Dub Inc. opens the album with the quality lead track called Better Run, this one was also featured on their 2013 album "Paradise". The rasta soldiers of Morgan Heritage take over with a typical Morgan Heritage roots tune called Let It Be Done - wicked offering! Ky-Mani Marley steps up next with his excellent interpretation of the riddim called Never Change. Mr. Richie Spice brings an average lovers tune... we must admit that our expectations were a little higher!

New Kingston was formed in 2006 in the basement of their Brooklyn home, when brothers Tahir Panton (keyboards/vocals), Courtney Panton Jr. (drums/vocals) and Stephen Suckarie (guitar/vocals) began covering music by the likes of Bob Marley, Earth Wind & Fire, Dennis Brown, Michael Jackson, The Whispers and many more. Eight years later they have established themselves as a major force in reggae music following the release of their third full length album, the very fresh "Kingston City". Their tune Today was the opening track for that album. Exco Levi's tune Solidarity Be Your Friend stands like a rock! Concerned lyrics brought in his unique style! VC aka Valton Craigie blasted onto the reggae scene in 2000 with his debut single "By His Deeds". The song was an instant success and the name "VC" soon became synonymous with a type of music dating back to the days of Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Jacob Miller. He keeps up the good works with the awesome tune Rise. Torch stays pretty close to VC's quality level with the tune I Know.

The last two tunes are delivered by European artists. First there's Raphael. Born in Savona (Italy) from Nigerian father and Italian mother, he started his musical journey in 2002, becoming singer and songwriter of the Italian Reggae band Eazy Skankers. Since then he has recorded several excellent tunes and two years back he released his album "Mind VS Heart". Skarra Mucci, Teacha Dee and Don Tippa perform the awesome Medication.

Quality selection!
