"Dancehall Madness" is a - very - low budget sampler from Rounder Europe (HeartBeat Europe) that offers a blazing selection of hitshots for the price of a single. Although the album title refers to Dancehall music, the selection also features excellent reggae tunes such as L.M.S. with Can't Go To Zion drawn from their 2003 album "Straight From Da Root". Another boomblast reggae song is Ras Shiloh's version of the 'Forever Loving Jah' riddim, voiced for producer Donovan Germain and that is included on his breakthrough album "From Rasta To You". The late great Garnett Silk is present here with A Man Is Just A Man, just one of the many great songs he recorded in his short lived career. Dancehall stalwarts Anthony B and Spragga 'Di' Benz deliver their songs inna fine fashion, while Beres and Sista Marcia bring a fine duet called Watch Out For That. There's even a dub tune included here, Dennis Brown's Dub My Corner.
Big album for a small price!
