Neil Perch from Zion Train's latest project is a juggling EP called "Fire Riddim". On this release he presents four fine collaborations with contemporary Jamaican roots artists and an unknown talent out of Italy, namely Sis Awa. The relaxed steppers riddim is a perfect backdrop for the artists to deliver their rootical goods. On all four tracks Addis Pablo takes care of the intro with an hypnotizing melodica riff.

Micah Shemaiah's "Rasta Live" is the standout tune on this EP, with its universal Rastafarian theme and excellent vocal delivery. The 'herb praising' tune "Fire" from Jah9 is solid, dealing with the medical and spiritual benefits of herb. However we have to admit that we've heard better efforts from her. With her uplifting song "I And I Shall Rise", Sis Awa tells us to never give up and keep on rising. Nice effort! The flawless instrumental cut from Addis Pablo closes this EP in real fine style.

Check it out! And if you're a vinyl collector, there a limited amount of 7" singles pressed. So don't hesitate to purchase them, because when they're gone, they're gone.
