This is a strange compilation, issued on Attack Records, distributed by Cou$ins, collecting what it promises "Foundation Singers ~ Revival Classics Volume 1". But, especially the sticker on it is extremely misleading, it reads: "All tracks produced by Duke Reid", yet of the 40 tunes collected on these 2 CDs only 8 tunes are Treasure Isle productions, 3 are produced by Leslie Kong and all other tunes (29) are Bunny Lee productions. However, despite featuring a couple often or even over-anthologized songs, there is a lot that is seldom heard on these discs, certainly deserving to be re-released. In my opinion this is a great value for money compilation, focusing on late 60s early 70s rocksteady and early reggae and you should buy this if you don't own at least half of the songs on it.
