UK based Del Productions has unleashed a booming one riddim set called 'Del Productions Present Hotti Hotti G Spot Riddim'. Del Productions is founded by Delroy Chambers over ten years ago. In that time it has gone from strength to strength from a small business in Birmingham to a worldwide operation. Del Productions artists are varied in their musical styles, which include R & B, Soul, Garage and Reggae artists. Since visiting Jamaica Delroy started off with a sound system and DJ's touring the world becoming one of the best, winning three trophies for the best sound system, the best music and the best DJ. He voiced lots of the local talent in Jamaica on a weekly basis and helped many artists onto the road to success, many of whom are now world famous artists. (i.e.: Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, Luciano, Harry Toddler and Elephant Man) some of whom are featured on this album. He works locally in the West Midlands with many talented R'n'B and Garage singers and helped many radio DJ's get to the top of their careers. He also supplies soundtracks for top movie companies, more recently he has worked alongside Mr John McCormack of Double Life Films, he supplied John with the soundtracks for his films i.e.: The Van Boys and Daddyfox (he made an appearance in this film himself) and also Derek starring Ricky Tomlinson.
The G Spot riddim is a medium paced riddim, with a twist of R'n'B and will definitely apply to the dancehall massive all over the world. The best known dancehall artists featured here are Elephant Man, who is in top form when he toasts over the riddim with his tune Position, Bobo dread Sizzla who makes a solid impression with his song World Without End and Vybz Kartel. The latter's output is enormous and What We A Fight For is a fine rootical dancehall tune from the deejay who is best known for his XX-Rated lyrics. Former Clarendonians member Ernest Wilson rides the riddim smoothly and his lovers tune Experience Love is a nice variation amongst all the deejay tunes here. Roots deejay Anthony B teams up with the up-and-coming deejay Famous Face for the tune African Pose. The deejay Silver Cat brings a 'bedroom bully' tune with the appropriate title Sex In The City.
Further noteworthy tunes here are No Do Me Dat Girl from the promising deejay Culture Blacks & Chrissy Mai, Clarendon by Culture Lion and Wash Belly by Harry Toddler.
