Almost simultaneously, Bare Fruits Productions from Spanish Town, Jamaica, have unleashed two juggling projects, first the "Herbs Riddim" and then the warm and colorful "Kick It Up Riddim". The latter is the better riddim and will surely be picked up by selectors and reggae fans worldwide.

The "Kick It Up" riddim is an excellent remake of the Soul Vendors' classic "Swing Easy" - one of the greatest riddims ever to come out of the legendary Studio One. With its catchy bassline, triumphant horn section and echoing guitar strum, the infectious "Kick It Up" has great appeal and will get you rocking fi sure. It's versatile singer Tony Curtis, who kicks off this compilation EP with mostly conscious tracks. His "A So Life Go" is solid effort that can be ranked among the singer's best tunes. Kingston-born up-and-coming singer Luke Thomas aka Righteous Youth makes a solid impression with the praising "Jah Jah Never Fail I Yet", while Lutan Fyah's "All Is Well" once again shows why this singjay hardly ever fails to disappoint. Big tune with lyrics to match!! Bass-player-turned-singer Delroy Nevin aka Worm Bass, co-founder and leader of the legendary Blaze Band and the one who helped to shape the career of Grammy Award winner and dancehall superstar Beenie Man, started his career as a singer with his 2011 released first single, "Bring Back The Paradise". Here he delivers the love song "Only You", a nice effort but definitely less appealing as the other tracks. Richie Spice comes up with "Mirror Mirror", a decent message tune delivered in his distinctive singjay style.

The "Kick It Up Riddim EP Pt 2", featuring cuts from Mikey General, Lenn Hammond and Lymie Murray, will be released soon.
