After having produced dancehall scorchers such as Vybz Kartel's "Kingston Story" and Popcaan's "Get Gyal Easy", Dre Skull draws attention again with the "Loudspeaker" riddim. The latter, a powerful and emotive backdrop with a dominant percussion sound, a prominent dancehall bassline and a minimal synth-stab, is presented on a digitally released EP featuring four original vocal cuts plus the instrumental version.

Beenie Man gets things going in his well known style with his fast-flowing ode to the female form on "Hot Like Fire". Great dancehall vibes from the King of the Dancehall, whose winner is followed by Natalie Storm's classic braggadocios take on the decent "Rock The Runway". Then it's time for Soca Monarch Machel Montano to appear on this dancehall riddim. Normally he voices Soca riddims, but here Machel Montano keeps his energy intact for an expressive tune called "Go Down". Much promising Popcaan rounds off in great style with the killer piece "The System". This epic, conscious track sees this up-and-coming dancehall star describe the trials and struggles of ghetto youth in the face of the system.

The "Loudspeaker" is an irresistible dancehall riddim that keeps your feet moving on the dancefloor.
