Sounie Productions, Ltd. is in their own words a unique group of composers, songwriters, engineers, sound designers and producers who have a burning desire to create the most memorable reggae music out there. Claiming the unique ability to reach their goal to make music that sounds as good as their favorite recording artists and as memorable as vintage times. Certainly their first 'O Nine'-riddim featured on this one riddim album gives Sounie Productions a great start, with a beautiful piano and drums led riddim laid by Daniel 'Axe Man' Thompson & Leroy 'Horse Mouth' Wallace. Melodic newcoming singjays Lt. Brooksie with "Talk It Over" and Leopard with "Pretty Face" both impress before Beenie Man delivers the absolute standout tune - amidst a whole heap of excellent efforts - across the 'O Nine'-riddim with his "Progress" followed by the fabulous love tune "Three Times A Woman" by Morgan Heritage. More lovers tune follow and both Anthony B's "The World" and "You Capture Me" by Lutan Fyah are wonderful smooth tunes.

Gyptian joins the crooners ranks very convincingly as well with the excellent "Anything For You" before "Excuse Me Mr." suddenly brings the comeback of original Jammy's veteran Pad Anthony and "Wishing On A Star" is a very strong tune by Anthony Cruz. One of the often overlooked great singers in Jamaica and probably the most underrated member of L.U.S.T. is Thriller U and with "The Things You Do" he once more proves how unfair that is. "I Wish" is a beautiful lovers tune by upcoming female singer Chantelle Ernandez followed by the last vocal on this riddim "When Are We" by promising singer Guidance. This great selection of vocals then is topped with the clean version of the "O Nine Riddim" that is a very smooth yet truly powerful riddim, putting Sounie Productions firmly on the map, with this selection of inspired tunes by well-known artists and very promising tunes by newcomers.
