Opposite to volume 3 of the Prime Cuts series from Gussie Clarke's vaults, this volume has only a few tracks inna "computerised" style. The radio anthem "Pirate's anthem" and Cocoa Tea's "Why turn down the sound" are just two of the highlights found on this compilation. Lots of tracks from the pre-digital age, with classics like "Blackman time", "Pride and ambition" and the early eighties remake of Larry Marshall's own "Throw me corn". The Tamlins do a sweet cover of Stevie Wonder's "Lately", while Bob Andy's "Really together" gets a nice treat in an extended version by the Jackie Paris, Pam Hall and Big Youth. A great Gussie Clarke compilation !
