VP Records' "Riddim Driven" series presents "Mexican", the next big riddim coming from the historic King Jammy’s production house, located at 38 St. Lucia Road in the Waterhouse district of Kingston, Jamaica. The "Mexican" was build by Graig "Left Side" Parkes, son of one of Jamaica's premier bassists Lloyd Parks, and produced by Lloyd "King Jammy" James and his son Trevor "Baby G" James. Gifted young musician Graig "Left Side" Parkes managed to create a bouncy riddim around multi-layered rhythm guitar hooks, which truly weave a hypnotic backdrop. Thus it keeps the riddim going over 18 tracks. Boasting some of today's hottest deejays and singers alongside lesser known names such as Bascom X and Bugsy Malone, the "Mexican" features some awesome cuts including Sizzla's booming "Come On", "Dem Bawling" by Bounty Killer, Ward 21's "Bug Out" and the combination tune "Admaria Panamina" by Wayne Wonder and his alter ego, the deejay Surprize. Other notable efforts on the riddim are delivered by Beenie Man, Assassin, Vybz Cartel, Anthony Cruz and the original Don Gorgon, Ninja Man.|
No doubt the "Mexican" will get any party going, so check him out!!
