Another hot streetbeat gets VP's "Riddim Driven" treatment and this time it's the "Project X" riddim. New York based veteran ace producer Phillip Smart is responsible for the the unique flavor of the "Project X". It is a thoroughly modern mix of a classic dancehall bounce with equal parts new wave and new jack swing. In combination with multi-talented Danny Browne, Phillip Smart brings a pop oriented collection of some 15 tracks. Voicing the lightweight poppy riddim are the omnipresent Elephant Man who delivers a noteworthy tune called Stress Free and man of the moment Vybz Kartel, who puts out a strong tune with Money & Gal. Also worthwhile spinning are Survive by Mr. Lexx (aka Lexxus) and the two efforts by up-and-coming female sing-jay Sasha, Hanky Panky and Anaconda, the latter tune being an extended version of the riddim.
Guaranteed to get any party started!
