Whatever your thoughts are about VP Records' relentless deluge of "Riddim Driven" albums, there's no mistaking they have released some real winners including "Liquid", "Buy Out" and "Rice & Peas", to name a few. And now there's another winner in the series. It's producer and selector Bobby Konders and co-producer Burro Banton of New York based "Massive B Records" alongside the very talented riddim builder Richard "Shams" Browne (known from hit riddims such as "Baddis", Juice", "Glue" and "Intercourse"), who have lend their talents to the "Riddim Driven" series with a brand new riddim called "Wanted". When this infectious streetbeat appeared on pre-release it already created a strong buzz in the dancehalls, and now that it's available on cd and lp format the buzz will get even stronger, especially as it boasts some awesome tunes including T.O.K.'s "Gal You Lead", Elephant Man's "Wangstas & Wannabees", Spragga Benz's "The Streetz", Wayne Marshall's "Vibes Is Right", Bounty Killer's "Mr. Wuk More" and the truly excellent "Bag Juice" by veteran King Kong. With no weak tune around this set will satisfy any avid dancehall fan looking to extend his bashment collection.
