Reggae 2 ~ Dancehall Vibes is the second volume of a low budget sampler series of the Dutch distribution company CRS (Continental Record Services) which distributes the releases of reggae labels like HeartBeat and Ras Records. This sampler contains 14 dancehall tunes, drawn from the vaults of RAS and HeartBeat and features namebrand JA producers such as Donovan Germain, Phillip 'Fatis' Burrel, Jack Scorpio and Everton Blender.
Here you will find some of Penthouse (Donovan Germain) best productions. Artists like Tony Rebel -Know Jah, Beres hammond -Do The Right Thing, Garnett Silk -Christian Soldiers- and Wayne Wonder -Hold On have enjoyed some of their greatest successes with producer Donovan Germain.
Bobo Dread Sizzla is featured here with a track from his debut set Burning Up. Over the years he has become the most talked-about deejay in reggae. Two tracks drawn from the recent compilation set 'Dancehall Liberation' are included as well. Prezident Brown and Everton Blender perform two cuts across the 'Kanta' riddim. Buju Banton teams up with Red Rat on Love Dem Bad a tune taken from one of his best albums ever, 'Inna Heights'.
Further interesting tunes are Sister Carol's Dread Natty Congo, Michael Rose's excellent Short Temper and Warn Dem by Yellowman and Beenie Man.
