Until now the 2012 launched US based Larger Than Life Records, an off-shoot of the Itation Sound System which was originally formed in the late 1990's, has brought forth some very entertaining juggling sets including the "Life After Life Time", "Queen Of Queens", "Talawah", "Broke Life" and "Going Home". And now they are back with another 'one riddim' set, the "Simply Natural", which features 5 vocal cuts but unfortunately lacks the instrumental.

Despite only coming with five tunes, the names featured on this "Simply Natural" set are interesting enough to make it worthwhile checking out. And indeed, it turns out that every cut is worth a spin. Chino gets things going with "Rasta Calling", a superb interpretation of Dennis Brown's "So Long Rastafari". It's followed by Luciano's wonderful tribute to the late great "Mandela". Andrew Brown aka Droop Lion, the current lead vocalist of The Gladiators, delivers the solid "Ganja Baby", while RC (Righteous Child), who placed second in the 2009 staging of Magnum Kings and Queens of dancehall, outmatches the Droop Lion piece with the outstanding "Running Away". Although not as strong as the preceding track, the lovers tune "Time" by Exco Levi lives up the expectations. The set is rounded off nicely with Bobby Hustle's "Pum Pum Holiday".

All in all a very nice set, not to be missed.
