At the end of 2006 Greensleeves unleashes a fresh edition of its annual hardcore dancehall round-up featuring nearly all the latest and exciting dancehall hits that have emerged from Jamaica in 2006. This is a solid compilation featuring chart number ones on the most wanted riddims this year, the most influential and controversial artists plus new tracks already making an impact in the dancehall charts.

The avid fan will definitely know and love most of the tracks here such as Weh Dem A Do by Mavado - currently a huge hit in the US where it has been recently playlisted on New York's HOT 97. Further tracks across the 'Red Bull & Guiness' riddim here are Chino & Delly Ranx's Redbull & Guinness and Soltex 3000 with Killa Walk, Prezzi Bounce. One artist really stands out here, Tony 'Mentally Ill' Matterhorn as he contributes some four wicked tunes, including his immensely popular hit tune Duttty Wine across the 'Smash' riddim, the riddim which is also used for Vybz Kartel's Ben Over. Tony also does his thing on Massive B's 'March Out' riddim, while soca artist Bunji Garlin brings his rendition on the riddim with Brrt. Veteran deejay Yellowman re-entered the dancehall battlefield this year with his voicing of the 'Eighty Five' riddim for producer Dave Kelly called Orphan.

A strong up and coming artist is Alaine, she contributes the tough Wine over Donovan 'Vendetta' Bennett's 'Sweat riddim, which hit big early this year. Also included is Beenie Man's cut across the riddim. One of the most hottest tunes of the moment has to be Clifford Smith aka Mr. Vegas' Hot Fuk, aka 'Hot Wuk'. In the Streetz Records has a sure shot winner with this riddim! One of our favourite riddim of 2006 was 'Inspector' from the Stainless Records Inc. camp. Sizzla's tune - Haffe Get It - across the riddim is one of his best offerings of 2006. On the same riddim you'll get Supahype with Uptown Story as he reworks Cham's 'Ghetto Story' brilliantly!

The two dancehall giants Beenie Man en Bounty Killer meet on TJ's 'Show Off' riddim, and the winner is...The Warlord aka Bounty Killer who underpins his superiority with the mighty tune Bullet Proof Skin, but Beenie's tune Bullet Proof Vest is definitely enjoyable too. Dancehall madonna Macka Diamond relicks the 'Twice My Age' riddim with the help of Steelie & Clevie, a nice tune! More retro riddim here as Buju delivers Talk To Me riding the 'Man Fi Dead' riddim from H20 Productions.

Action packed, certified platinum selection!
