"Total Togethernes Volume 10" is collection of 12 vocal tracks (no deejay tunes found here)
, produced by an array of producers, including tunes produced by Bobby 'Digital' Dixon,
Collin Levy, Shocking Vibes, Donovan Germain and Paul Henton.|
The revitalized 'M16' riddim is featured twice here. The first lick comes from youthman Serial Kid with "Little Shatta" and the second lick is performed by Singing Melody, who uses R. Kelly's "When A Woman's Fed Up" for his outing. Both tracks are produced by Paul Henton for his Booth Camp imprint. Another R&B cover -If U Have My Love- is done by female vocalist Cecile. Luciano delivers a reworking of his own "Moving On Up" and upcoming superstar Jah Mali puts down a splendid tune for producer Donovan Germain, entitled "Substance Abuse".
Ace producer Bobby 'Digital' Dixon is featured here with two excellent productions. First there's Morgan Heritage with "Praise Him" and next comes one of Jamaica's most gifted (unknown) vocalists, A.J. Brown, with "We Need To Learn". He delivers his tune across a mid eighties digital King Jammy's riddim track.
Reggae veteran George Nooks comes up with one of the highlights of the album, the rootsy tune No More. Singer/producer Anthony "Redrose" Cameron produced the topnotch Beres Hammond track Still Going Strong.
A very nice compilation !
