"Vinyl With Love (Dancehall)" is a nice compilation set from Panther Records featuring a line up that includes many well known names from Jamaica's dancehall scene. Featured are two dancehall riddims plus Beenie Man delivering his tune over an unknown riddim. First eleven tracks come across In Time's bouncing "Body Snatcher" riddim, with the next seven cuts being performed over Pot Of Gold's "Mexican", an irresistible riddim track which drops in with an intro that sounds as if it has been lifted from a "celluloid Western" movie. All pieces for both riddims were previously released on 7" singles in 2001. Best efforts over the "Body Snatcher" riddim are Ce'Cile's "Video Light" (featured here twice?!), Kiprich's "Log On" and Capleton's awesome "Red Red Pon Backra", with most of the others being matching cuts. Favorite tunes for the "Mexican" are Richie Stephens' "Girls Night", Mr. Vegas' "That Bun Dem" and Señor by General Degree.
