Producer Pionear's Germaican record label, later renamed Germaica Digital for obvious reasons, was founded in 1999 and first attracted attention with the 2000 released "Bitch" riddim. Produced at Steven Ventura's Celestial Studio and featuring cuts from well known artists such as Elephant Man, Lady Saw, Degree, Hawkeye, Lukie D or Kiprich it became the best selling juggling riddim of that year in Germany. More hit riddims followed with the "Doctor’s Darling" riddim on which Tanya Stephens delivered the monster hit "It's A Pity". It marked the label's international breakthrough.

And now, almost 15 years after the label was founded, there's the release of the 20th Germaica riddim entitled "Xleration"! To create this riddim, which is based on the King Tubby produced "Tempo" riddim from 1985, Leipzig based Dancehall Soundsystem Upliftment Int'l joint forces with upcoming producer Tiny Dawson. There are not that many songs on the riddim - only four with the riddim of Sanjin & Youthman's "For A While" having a different mix. For the first track, Pionear digged deep in his label vaults where he found Vybz Kartel's "Marihuana Gone To Bed" from 2003. And although it's a decent effort, it's outmatched by Assassin aka Agent Sasco's killer piece "Universal Language (Love)". BOOOOOM tune!!! Just like Vybz Kartel, Mr. G aka Goofy in collaboration with Jamaican newcomer Vershon and Ugandan Dancehall star Bobi Wine comes up with a ganja anthem. Both "High Grade" and "Marihuana Gone To Bed" have their own merit, however it's the Vybz Kartel tune that makes a slightly better impression. Sanjin & Youthman's wicked "For A While", which comes from their debut EP "Balkan Dancehall", rounds off this real nice release in fine style.

Hopefully this release will be followed by a new round of songs.
